Supporting Research Students through
Meaningful Mentorship
Intentional, inclusive mentorship plays an essential role in shaping successful research careers. This event is open to student members and will explore evidence-based strategies for mentoring psychology doctoral students within research settings, with a particular focus on supporting scholars from diverse backgrounds and fostering personal growth in mentoring relationships. Registrants must hold an active AMENA-Psy undergraduate or graduate student membership, and use the email associated with their AMENA-Psy account to register.
We will explore how mentorship can be adapted to meet the evolving needs of researchers from graduate training through early career transitions. We aim to equip supervisors, faculty, and research leaders working with scholars with practical tools to strengthen mentoring relationships and empower emerging scholars. This event will include a built-in Q&A session at the end.
