Student Research Open Mic
The AMENA-Psy Student committee is excited to invite student members to participate in a new Research Open-Mic - a casual, supportive space for students to share their work and receive feedback from peers. Registrants must hold an active AMENA-Psy undergraduate or graduate student membership, and use the email associated with their AMENA-Psy account to register.
This event is designed to give students an opportunity to:
• Practice conference or class presentations
• Share early-stage research ideas
• Workshop dissertation or thesis proposals
• Rehearse defenses
• Present works-in-progress and get constructive feedback from a supportive community
Whether you are looking to practice a presentation, talk through an idea, or get feedback on a project, this space is meant to be collaborative, low-pressure, and helpful for student researchers at any stage.
If you are interested in sharing/presenting during the open mic, a brief sign-up form will be included in the confirmation email. Even if you are not presenting, we encourage you to attend, support your peers, and engage in discussion.
We hope this becomes a regular space for AMENA-Psy students to connect, share ideas, and strengthen our research community. Please contact amenapsystudents@gmail.com with any questions.
